Pai Mu Tan
White Peony or Pai Mu Tan is a white tea where leaves are plucked from a special varietal tea bush called Narcissus or chaicha bushes. Only two leaves and a bud that show a very light green almost grayish white color are hand picked to make a proper Pai Mu Tan. The leaves are left to naturally wither and dry in the sun, unlike the traditional process of green tea. This is a top quality Pai Mu Tan. It has a large leaf with many white buds and green leafs and offers a splendid bright orange cup with a mild, nutty and slightly fine cocoa taste.
