Iron Tea Pot Owari 600 ml
Japanese cast iron teapot, or "tetsubin", was originally used in the home for boiling water. The traditional casting skills to create cast iron teapots date to the 17th century. Tetsubin was crafted after other Japanese water kettles in use at the time. The tetsubin heats evenly and retains heat well. Our Japanese iron teapots are cast by hand and finished with enamel on the inside to prevent rusting. Each Japanese teapot is fitted with a removable, stainless steel mesh infusing basket, for easy brewing of loose tea.
The "Owari teapot has a capacity of 600 ml appropriate for personal use and small gatherings .
